Everything's Shiny

I need to get this off my chest, and get it out in the open, and lay it all out so other people will understand.

This is BayCon stuff- if you're not interested... feel free to move along. I don't mind. =)

But I know people have been asking, and wondering, just what's been going on, and why I have gone totally off the map, and seemingly off the deep end to boot. I have been compiling this post for a number of days now, here and there when I was most unhappy, just to get it out of my system. I'm hoping that this will help to shed a little light on what's been going on, and maybe even allow folks to cut me just the tiniest bit more slack when it comes to how last-minute everything seems to be coming together...

I still hope it's going to be a wonderful convention, and I still look forward to being there.

This journal once used to be an open, public read of my life. My woes, my joys, my trials and tribulations...

And my trust has been broken a few too many times for me to ever be that naive again.

If you truly want to know something about me- there's a way. And it's not through anonymously sifting through my past- it's by finding out who I am NOW, and getting to know the Me that is the Present.

Otherwise- I no longer want all and sundry to have access to the things I used to love, and feel, and value.
